About This Lochlea whisky

Inspired by autumn on the farm, Lochlea Fallow Edition whiskies reflect a period of rest for their fields after the busy harvest season. Since their First Crop of Fallow, which launched in 2022, it's been satisfying seeing (and tasting) the progression of Lochlea's whisky maturing in Sherry casks each autumn.

For this third and final Crop of Fallow, bottled at 46% ABV, Lochlea has opted for 100% first-fill Oloroso Sherry butts.

All natural colour and non-chill filtered, Fallow Edition (Third Crop) is deep and decadent. You’ll find warming flavours of cooked apples and sweet dates on the nose, developing into freshly baked bread and Manuka honey on the palate. Notes of rich, buttery sandalwood oils and mixed peppercorns provide the perfect savoury finish for this dram.
