Nose: Properly mellow and grown up. Wax polish, almond biscotti, and the faintest whiff of old linen in a very tidy attic. You know there’s something going on, but it’s not shouting about it - like a secret handshake...
Palate: Elegant without being delicate. Honeycomb, toasted nuts, and a creamy cereal note that feels like a Kellogs breakfast in a very expensive hotel. The oak influence is subtle and self-aware, like a well raised child at a parents dinner party who knows it.
Finish: Sticks around like a clever joke you only just got. Gentle spice, soft oak and an old malt warmth that fades out slowly, muttering something witty under its breath as it walks away.

Cut Your Wolf Loose x Mister Phil Miltonduff 22 Year Old (Release #15) is a quietly confident Speyside single malt; elegant, charming, and just a bit mischievous. Distilled in 2002 and matured for over two decades in a refill hogshead, this whisky has been bottled at cask strength (50.7%), with no chill filtration or added colour. Only 138 bottles were produced, each paired with artwork by the ever-creative Mister Phil.
Miltonduff’s spirit is known for its gentle fruit, floral character, and smooth texture, and time has been kind here; the refill cask allowing nuance and maturity to take centre stage.
On the nose, it’s properly mellow and grown-up: wax polish, almond biscotti, and the faintest hint of old linen in a tidy attic. It’s subtle but intriguing, like a secret handshake between friends. The palate is elegant yet grounded, rich with honeycomb, toasted nuts, and creamy cereal notes that feel like a five-star breakfast.
