About this Rare Find whisky
Gleann Mór Spirits introduce this 17-year-old Pulteney as part of their Rare Find collection. Distilled on 17 January 2008 and bottled in 2025, it enjoyed a 6-month finish in a first-fill white port barrique (cask 12599), adding a delicate sweetness and complexity to the maritime Highland spirit. Bottled at cask strength (56.7%) with natural colour and no chill filtration, it opens with aromas of white fruit, spice, and pear drops. The palate brings cantaloupe, melon, sour sweets, sea salt, and oatcakes, leading to an intense finish with a refreshing touch of menthol. Only 164 bottles were produced.
