Palate: Vibrant with charcoal, tobacco, coffee and malt biscuits with sticky toffee and blackcurrant jam.

Finish: Lingering earthy peat, roasted pine nuts and warming spice.

Ed's review

Colour: Medium auburn, like looseleaf tea. Thick in the glass with slow developing tears.

Nose: Rich sherried fruits, raisins, currants, plums and figs. Light peat smoke with a coastal edge. Oak and sandalwood.

Palate: Medium to full mouthfeel with a fantastic texture. Brown Demerara sugar sprinkled over macerated fruit. Looseleaf tobacco in a leather pouch. Mocha coffee. Savoury peat smoke. Alcohol is well integrated.

Finish: Long finish with rich sherried fruits and a touch of smoke lingering.

Overall: Delicious. Drinks like a high quality 12 year old whisky, at least. Really tasty.
