About this Murray McDavid whisky
At the foot of the Ben Rinnes Mountain in Speyside lies Glenallachie Distillery. Historically the single malt has disappeared into blends, which is a shame. However, its new owners are now bottling it as a single malt – which is great to see. With this dram, Murray McDavid is celebrating the excellent spirit in its pure form. It was aged in a single sherry butt for 11 years of maturation and then finished for 2 years in a tawny port barrique from Caves de Murça, Douro Valley. >This UK exclusive is a beautiful dram.
