About This Lochlea whisky

This is the fourth in an annual series of limited seasonal bottlings from Lochlea, and the last of their 'First Crops'. ‘Ploughing Edition’ reflects the season of Winter on Lochlea's farm, when they start to plough the fields in preparation for sowing the barley in Spring. Lochlea has created a warming, smoky version of their signature Lochlea whisky by using a combination of ex-Islay barrels and peated quarter casks. They've chosen an icy blue label to reflect the bitterly cold and frosty Ayrshire winters.
