Nose: Walnuts, almonds, toasted dark bread.
Palate: Dried oriental tobacco, nuts and coconut, maple syrup and bourbon.
Finish: Sweet and sour, light black tea, custard, cornflakes.
About this Chapter 7 whisky
I'm a big fan of well aged grain whisky. And Chapter 7 have released some superb grain whiskies from Invergordon, Cambus, and Girvan. Here we have a North British sherry cask aged for an impressive 30 years. At a natural cask strength of 46.6% the angles have clearly enjoyed this one!
