Introducing Aberdeen Distillers, Glasgow’s new whisky bottling facility

Aberdeen Distillers is a new whisky bottling, re-casking and storage bonded warehouse facility in Glasgow. The warehouse is overseen by Operations Director Bryan Arnott, who has over 23 years of experience in the food and drink industry, with the last five focused on spirits. Bryan is supported by an equally experienced team. 

Said Bryan: “At Aberdeen Distillers we’ve designed the site to be as efficient as possible. Within our 20,000 sq ft space we have racking equipped to hold in excess of  2,000 whisky casks with each and every cask accessible for speedy regauging and sampling.  Our bottling line allows for maximum flexibility of bottle shapes and sizes as well as hand application of labels to ensure a client’s detailed ideas can be brought to life.  Plus our bespoke disgorge and re-casking area lets us keep up with clients' flavour profile needs. 

“We can offer pragmatic and productive advice and guidance throughout your design process for new product launches, as well as access to our small viewing platform and tasting room when your design comes to life.

Aberdeen Distillers is a subsidiary of respected independent bottler Blackadder International. “We decided to set up Aberdeen Distillers in order to bottle and re-cask  our own whiskies in a professional and timely manner,” said Robin Tucek, Managing Director of Blackadder. “And that’s an experience we would like to offer other  independent bottlers and distilleries, no matter how big or small.
