Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and add the whisky, mint leaves, sugar syrup and strain into your chosen glass. Top with crushed ice and use a spoon to stir the drink. Add more ice and a mint leaf to garnish your drink.

Add the whisky, lemon juice, syrup and egg white to a cocktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds without ice. Then add ice and shake again until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass before adding a couple of drops of the bitters on top for garnish.
Berry Whisky Sour
Ingredients
- 60ml whisky
- 30ml lemon juice
- 30ml ginger beer
- 15ml honey
- ½ cup of blackberries
- Mint leaf
Method

In a large glass, add the berries, mint and lemon juice then mash them together until the berries are juiced. Add the whisky and give it a mix. Use a strainer and pour the mixture into your preferred glass. Top with ginger beer and add a blackberry and mint leaf for garnish.
Spiced Whisky Sour
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp water
- ½ tsp five-spice powder
- 3 tbsp of lemon juice
- 90ml whisky
- Sugar to taste
- Ice
- Fresh lemon rinds
Method

Add the sugar and water to a pan and cook on the stove until the sugar has dissolved. Add the five-spice powder and leave to cool. Fill your cocktail shaker with ice and add the sugar syrup you have just made, the lemon juice and whisky. Give it a good shake, then strain and serve in a chilled glass. Garnish with lemon rinds.
